Today's caption is a wholesome and melancholy romantic tragedy. It was inspired by reading the personal story of someone who realized late in life that they were trans. By that time, she had already married a woman and started a family. They were struggling with the fear that they would lose the woman they loved if they came out about their gender identity so they chose not to transition.
It was a sad story, and I wanted to tell something like it in a way that a CIS person might be able to comprehend.
